Hailing from Cardiff, Railroad Bill are Britain's best loved and longest running touring skiffle group. For nearly 30 years these tea chest bass twanging tornados have taken their uptempo, acoustic blend of folk, blues, rock n roll, jazz, music hall and punk round the world, astonishing crowds from Scotland to Singapore with their raucous energy and uplifting sounds.
In recent years they have enjoyed a revival as a superb festival band rocking stages at Glastonbury, Bestival, Camp Bestival, Wychwood and others. They have also had a new lease of life on the retro and vintage scene playing at events like Goodwood Revival and becoming regulars at Itchy Feet nights where they convert huge crowds of young people to the gospel of skiffle.
With their new album of contemporary original skiffle material "Pigs Might Fly" released May 2015 on Country Mile Records, Railroad Bill just keep rolling on.

"Railroad Bill are the living, breathing, chicken-squeaking embodiment of the DIY scene that began with the jug band and brought us the story-tellers and the punks. Doing it their way till the last. One of these days people might just realise that the Bills had it right all along" - Count Skylarkin DJ and promoter, Disco Shed, Itchy Feet, The Big Ten Inch

"Railroad Bill’s sound crackles with the intensity of early rock n roll and the musical invention of a modern day Donegan... A perfect blast of twenty-first century skiffle"-
